Day 1: Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat
Arrival at Marrakech Menara airport.
Welcome by the company representative and transfer to Casablanca.
Depending on arrival time, the group will visit the city, including
a guided tour of the Hassan II mosque, one of the
world’s biggest mosques. Continuation to Rabat – the capital of
Morocco, lunch in a restaurant and check in a 5* hotel.
City tour including the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Kasbah of
Oudaias. Dinner and overnight stay in a hotel or riad in Rabat.
Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis- Fes
After breakfast departure to Fes through the Middle
Atlas with stops in Meknes and Volubilis – Morocco’s largest
and best preserved Roman ruins. On arrival city tour of Meknes, the
third Imperial city of Morocco including the stables of Moulay Ismail.
Lunch in a restaurant and continuation to Volubilis for a guided
visit of the Roman site. From here it’s a short drive to Fes,
the oldest of the Imperial cities. Dinner and overnight stay in a
luxury riad in Fes.
Day 3: Fes
After breakfast guided tour of the authentic medina
of Fez, one of the world’s largest walled in cities offering a
step back in time. You will explore the narrow streets lined with
fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets
and many other crafts. A visit to the Kings Palace, the tanneries,
and potters are just a few places you will experience.
For lunch you will eat in traditional restaurant in the heart of the
medina. After lunch you will complete the tour and
return to your riad in the evening for dinner and overnight in your
riad in Fes.
Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud
After breakfast departure to the south of Morocco
through the Middle Atlas mountains. Most of the day will be spent
winding your way through the beautiful forests, semi-nomadic Berber
villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend
into the Sahara Desert. Stop to admire the famous resort of Ifrane
called “little Switzerland”and continuation to Azrou with its cedar
forest and monkeys. Lunchbreak in Midelt and continuation to the
south of the country. Arrival to Erfoud late in the afternoon, check
in a luxury hotel, dinner and overnight stay in a charming hotel in
Erfoud.
Day 5: Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi dunes
After breakfast departure by 4×4 vehicles to the
largest dunes of Morocco – Erg Chebbi in Merzouga.On the way you
will visit the fossil factory of Erfoud and an ancient palace in
Rissani. You will drive on the route of the famous Paris-Dakar rally
and arrive to an oasis for lunch. Afterwards you will be dressed in
traditional touareg clothes(turban and jellabah) and have a camel
ride to the desert camp where you will enjoy the sunset before
arriving to the comfortable desert camp for a traditional dinner with
campfire.
Overnight stay in Erg Chebbi in a desert camp.
Day 6: Erg Chebbi dunes – Merzouga- Rissani– Nkob – Tanssikht – Zagora
Early breakfast to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes
and departure to Rissani. Continuation to N’kob for lunch and
on to the Draa valley famous for its palm groves and thousands of
kasbahs with an exotic landscape. On arrival to Tanssikht off
route drive to discover the magnificent valley of Draa. Arrival to
Zagora in the afternoon. Check in, dinner and overnight stay
in a comfortable hotel in Zagora.
Day 7: Zagora – Mhamid – Erg Chegaga
After breakfast visit to a traditional moroccan hammam or free time to discover the capital of the south.
After lunch departure by the route of rallies such as Marathon des Sables and Aicha de Gaselles through the dry lakes and
hamadas(black desert). Welcome tea in a touareg camp and continuation till the desert camp in Erg Chegaga. Dinner with
campfire and surprises and overnight stay in a luxury desert camp at Erg Chegaga dunes.
Day 8: Erg Chegaga – Foumzguit – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast a short trekking to discover the largest dry lake Iriki and continuation by 4×4 vehicles to
Foum Zguit where you will have a tea pause with local nomads and on to Ouarzazate. Quick lunch and city tour including the
cinema studios and Ait Ben Haddou kasbah which is a heritage of UNESCO. Conituation to Marrakech through the High Atlas
mountains and stop at Tizin Tichka pass(2260 m altitude). Arrival to Marrakech in the evening, dinner and overnight stay
in a luxury riad in Marrakech.
Day 9: Marrakech
After breakfast the whole day is dedicated to the discovery of Marrakech and its monuments with a local
guide including the Bahia palace, Saadian Tombs, the coranic school Medersa Ben Youssef and the Museum of Marrakech.
Shopping time in the souks of Marrakech full of crafts and artisana. In the evening dinner with live music and fantasia
show and overnight stay in your riad in Marrakech.
Day 10: Marrakech – Casablanca
After breakfast free time and transfer to Casablanca International Airport for your flight back home.
Assistance with registration and departure. End of services.
